GWM Haval H6 Awarded 5 Star ANCAP Safety Rating

Great Wall Motor's (GWM) HAVAL H6 has received high scores in the rigorous Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) crash testing, receiving five stars for the most recent 2020-2022 safety protocols. It is GWM's second vehicle to obtain such a high rating, following the GWM Pick-up POER.HAVAL H6 earned the five-star safety rating on the back of scores of 90% for Adult Occupant Protection, 88% for Child Occupant Protection, 73% for Vulnerable Road User Protection, and 81% for Safety Assist.According to ANCAP, the Haval H6 received full marks for driver protection in both the side-impact and oblique pole tests, front- and rear-seat occupant whiplash protection, and front-seat passenger protection in the frontal offset test. The H6 also received top marks for Child Occupant Protection, with ANCAP praising the SUV's ability to "safely accommodate a range of conventional typical child restraints."
